My Story

After having my own two children, I realized how crucial it was to have a solid support network during pregnancy. Birth is a difficult experience on a physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual level. I have obtained my full spectrum doula certification as of October 2022. I am certified as a birthing and a postpartum doula. As the founder and lead doula, I am thrilled to introduce a nurturing space dedicated to guiding and championing women through this transformative experience. Our mission is to enhance your birthing experience, foster a sense of confidence, and nurture your well-being during this remarkable chapter. From prenatal support to postpartum care, we are committed to creating a positive and empowering environment for you and your growing family. Join us at Bumps, Births & Beyond Doula, where the journey to parenthood is met with understanding, support, and celebration.

Sleeping newborn black baby lying on bed

We’re beyond grateful for Krystel’s help in our labor and delivery process. We don’t know what we would’ve done if she wasn’t there there! She guided us every step of the way til our son was born! From setting the atmosphere, encouraging me, the tennis ball massages (sent from heaven btw!) and helping us navigate as we diverted from our original birth plan. She carried the team on her back, and we appreciate her so much. We will never forget her support! And her just as a person, amazing!

Krystel ensured I maintained a healthy diet and hydration during my lactation experience, making the overall process much smoother. Given my emergency cesarean two months before the due date, she played a crucial role in managing the unexpected birth amid high-stress situations. Additionally, Krystel provided valuable information for postpartum care.
